MM2H Consultants Malaysia
MM2H Consultants Who Stay with You After Approval
Most MM2H consultants focus on one thing: getting your application submitted. That part is important, but it is only half the job. The other half, the part that actually determines how smoothly your move to Malaysia goes, happens after MOTAC issues your conditional approval letter.
Wanda provides MM2H services that cover both halves: the pre-approval paperwork and the post-approval, on-the-ground support that gets you settled. We are a MOTAC-licensed agent (License No: MM2H85), and our service is structured into three clear phases so you know exactly what happens at every stage.

The MM2H market has grown significantly since the programme's 2024 restructuring. More agents have entered the space, and the quality of service varies widely. If you are comparing MM2H consultants, here are the practical differences between a full-service firm and a basic filing agent:
A basic agent collects your documents, fills in the MOTAC application form, and submits it. Once your conditional approval arrives, they send you the letter and wish you well. You are left to figure out banking, medical examinations, insurance, and the Immigration visit on your own. If anything goes wrong during those steps, you are on your own.
A full-service MM2H consultancy does everything above, and then physically accompanies you through every post-approval step in Malaysia. They have established relationships with specific bank branches that process MM2H deposits, approved panel clinics, and the Immigration Department in Putrajaya. They know which documents to bring to each appointment, which queues to join, and which common mistakes to avoid. They stay involved until your passport is stamped and your family is settled.
The fee difference between the two types of service is often smaller than applicants expect. The difference in experience is enormous. When you are in a foreign country trying to complete government procedures within a fixed deadline, having someone beside you who has done this hundreds of times is worth more than any fee comparison.
Wanda operates as the second type. Our MM2H services are designed to cover the entire process because we have seen what happens when applicants try to manage the post-approval steps alone: missed bank appointments, wrong insurance policies, expired medical reports, and unnecessary repeat visits to Putrajaya. We built our service model to prevent exactly these problems.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our MM2H services
How long does the MM2H application process take?
The processing time typically ranges from 3 to 6 months from submission to conditional approval, depending on the completeness of your documents and the current application volume. Wanda manages the entire timeline and keeps you updated at every stage so you don't have to worry about delays or missed deadlines.
What documents do I need to prepare?
The key documents required include a valid passport with at least 18 months validity, bank statements showing proof of financial stability, a police clearance certificate (Letter of Good Conduct), a medical report, a letter of intent, and recent passport-sized photos. Wanda will provide you with a detailed checklist and guide you through obtaining each document.
Do I need to be in Malaysia to apply?
No, you do not need to be in Malaysia during the application phase. Wanda handles the entire submission process on your behalf remotely. However, once you receive your conditional approval letter, you will need to travel to Malaysia within 6 months for the visa endorsement, medical check-up, and insurance enrolment.
What happens after I receive conditional approval?
After receiving your conditional approval letter, you will need to open a fixed deposit account at a Malaysian bank, initiate a property purchase within 12 months that meets your tier's minimum threshold, undergo a medical examination in Malaysia, enrol in a valid Malaysian medical insurance plan, and visit the Immigration Department for your visa endorsement and passport stamping.
Can you help with school placement for my children?
Absolutely. We assist MM2H families in finding suitable international schools that match your children's age, curriculum preference (British, American, IB, or Australian), and location. We can also help with the student pass application required for dependants studying in Malaysia.
What if my application is rejected?
While rejections are uncommon when applications are properly prepared, Wanda reviews every application thoroughly before submission to minimise the risk. If an application does not receive approval, we will advise you on the reasons and guide you on whether reapplication is viable and what adjustments are needed.
What are the government and agency fees?
Government participation fees vary by tier: RM 40,000 for Silver and SEZ, RM 55,000 for Gold, and RM 70,000 for Platinum. These fees cover the official processing by MOTAC and the Immigration Department. Agency professional fees are separate and will be discussed transparently during your consultation with no hidden charges.
Can Wanda help me after my visa is approved?
Yes, our support does not end at visa approval. Our value-added services cover house rental or purchase assistance, housemaid applications, shipping of personal belongings, utility and broadband setup, fixed deposit withdrawal applications, car import arrangements, and business registration in Malaysia. We are your long-term partner in settling into your new life.
