The MM2H Overview (New Policy aka 2024)
The current version of the MM2H Programme (re-launched in 2024) sees the introduction of 4 new categories — Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Special Economic Zone/Special Financial Zone (SEZ/SFZ). Each category comes with its own criteria and benefits for participants choosing to relocate to Malaysia.

Programme Tiers
The MM2H Categories
Applicants can select ONE of the FOUR new MM2H categories to obtain a long term residency pass in Peninsular Malaysia.
The Most Prestige Category
MM2H Platinum Category
20-years Long Term Investment/Residency Pass- Must purchase a property of MYR 2,000,000 or above in any States in Peninsular Malaysia
- FD of USD 1,000,000
- Allowed for any business, investment or employment in Malaysia
The Long Term Residency Category
MM2H Gold Category
15-years Long Term Residency Pass- Must purchase a property of MYR 1,000,000 or above in any States in Peninsular Malaysia
- FD of USD 500,000
- Not allowed for any business or employment in Malaysia
The Most Popular Category
MM2H Silver Category
5-years Long Term Residency Pass- Must purchase a property of MYR 600,000 or above in any States in Peninsular Malaysia
- FD of USD 150,000
- Not allowed for any business or employment in Malaysia
Special Category for Forest City
MM2H SEZ/SFZ Category
10-years Long Term Residency Pass- Must purchase a property in Forest City, Johor only
- FD of USD 65,000 or USD 32,000
- Not allowed for any business or employment in Malaysia
